Record Breaking Weekend For 2015 Diesels On The Mountain

31 May 2015 Denver, CO - Diesels on the Mountain presented by BD Diesel Performance turned out to be a record breaking weekend for the NHRDA. It started at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Friday night where the crowd enjoyed some great NHRDA sled pulling action. The weather delay didn't dampen the crowd's enthusiasm for the sled pull. On Saturday the action moved to Bandimere Speedway where the MBRP Diesel Drag Racing Series put on a great show. The fans and racers saw records fall by the way side as Derek Rose made his first appearance and he made sure every body knew his name as he laid down a record breaking pass of 9.41 to open qualifying. Former National Record Holder Rob Coddens was not to be out done has laid down a 9.47 second pass in eliminations and then back it up with 9.36 in a later round. When the dust finally settled it was Rob Coddens walking away from the track with the new Super Street ET and MPH record and the win.
