Top Diesel Field Ready To Rumble For World Champion Title

18 Sept 2015 Ennis TX - One of the best Top Diesel Fields in years is set to battle for the World Champion Title at the Texas Motorplex on October 2-3rd. Four drivers are poised to challenge for the World Champion and 2015 NHRDA Top Diesel Nationals Points Championship.

John Robinson is the 2 time defending World Champion and will be looking to keep his home town streak alive by winning his 3rd consecutive World Championship. The 2013-2014 winner has one big question - whether he will be running the funny car or altered body on his Power Service Dodge.

Jared Jones will be looking for his 1st ever World Championship in 2015 after having mechanical problems both in 2013 and 2014. Jones hold the Top Diesel National record with a 6.46 ET and 225.30 mph, set in June 2015 At Lucas Oil Raceway.

Marty Thacker was the 2012 World Champion and has returned to the Top Diesel category this year - he has his sights on both the national record and being World Champion once again.

Wade Moody has won both the World Finals and National Championship in the Pro Stock category, and is the current national record holder in both ET and Speed in the Pro Stock class. This year Moody has stepped up to the Top Diesel Class and is looking to have the same success at the World Finals this year. Moody debuted the dragster just a couple of weeks ago at the Oklahoma Diesel Nationals, and recorded his first win in the Top Diesel category.
