Ryan "Hardway" Milliken Looking To Make NHRDA History
If you are a fan of NHRDA Diesel Drag Racing, you have very likely heard of Ryan "Hardway" Milliken. Ryan dominated and won two championships in 2014, in Pro Stock driving the G&J Diesel Bat mobile and in Super Street. This year his beautiful Hardway Performance 2014 Dodge Ram is running in the Pro Street class, where he leads the pointd championship over fellow Pro Street driver Matt Kubik by 60 points.
No one has won 3 NHRDA National Championships in three different classes in NHRDA Diesel Drag Racing - a huge indicator of just how competitive this popular Florida driver is.
Check out a video of Ryan, and his 2014 Dodge, nicknamed "Mini Wheat" -
Ryan was busy getting ready for the World Finals in a couple of weeks, but had a minute to let us in on his plans for World Finals at the Motorplex at the end of September. His focus is clearly on winning that championship in a third NHRDA Category. "I'm going to out try and win a championship and become World Champion in Pro Street." he said. "So I won't be there to try and set a new ET record in the class."
But there was also some good news, as the new SFI rules have been approved for Pro Street, so Ryan and the guys at Hardway Performance are busy getting Dustin Jackson's truck updated and ready for an assault on the Pro Street records in the class. "We're going to run Dustin there to try and set the records for the class." said Milliken.
Ryan's sponsors include Hardway Performance, Suncoast Transmissions, and Fleece Performance. His Hardway Performance shop is a must visit for anyone in Florida. Good Luck at the World Finals!
