Action Packed Weekend At The G&J Big Sky Truck Fest
25 Aug 2016 Billings, MT - The final stop before the World Finals was at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Acton, Montana for the GJ Big Sky Truck Fest. A big thanks to Jim Greenway who jumped on the grader and worked the track all morning and by noon we knew we would have a great pull track that evening. With 13 different classes on the line up sheet it was a great night of pulling, as the sun set you knew why they called Montana Big Sky Country. Highlights were Steve Durrant and Jason Stott winning back to back Big Sky Truck Fest titles.
Saturday the sun was out and track conditions were perfect as we started the qualifying rounds. Highlights were Verlon Southwick winning both Sportsman and Super Diesel classes and Ryan Milliken posted a win in Pro Street class and has taken over the points lead from Matt Kubik as we head to the NHRDA World Finals on September 30th & October 1st at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis Texas.
