09 August 2016 Edmonton, AB- Video highlights from the 2016 NHRDA JB's Power Centre Canadian Diesel Shootout at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Smokin Guns Gord Cooper completely crushed the NHRDA Hot Rod Semi Truck World Record in Edmonton with an incredible run over two tenths of a second under the old mark. Wade Minter drove up from Canada and just missed putting the Super Street Record into the eight second zone with another amazing run - 9.006 at 156.01 mph to reset the NHRDA Super Street Record. The Series moves on to the G&J Diesel Big Sky Truck Fest August 19th & 20th at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Billings, Montana.
