Mario Monette drives his truck the BEAST to his 1st ever National Points Championship in the NHRDA Hot Rod Semi Class!

Monette, owner of MHPD (Mario High Performance Diesel) is not only a sponsor of the Hot Rod Semi Class but he is also one of the top drivers racing in the crowd favorite Hot Rod Semi Class. His truck is a 1988 (379) Peterbilt, named the BEAST and is making over 3000hp and does some of the biggest and longest burnouts in the NHRDA.

Jared Jones is your 2023 NHRDA Top Diesel National Points Champion!

Jones made the drive down from Indiana to the NHRDA World Finals back in September at the Texas Motorplex, and little did he know that by the end of the weekend he would not only be the World Champion and set a new NHRDA Top Diesel record but he would accumulate enough points to also win the Top Diesel points championship.

Kevin Douglas wins his 1st NHRDA Pro Stock National Championship in 2023!

Kevin Douglas is from Calgary Alberta and is long time NHRDA competitor and supporter of the series. Douglas also owns Radical Diesel Repair in Calgary and also is long time sponsor and supporter of the series.

Douglas chase for the championship began at the Canadian Diesel Shootout where he got his 1st win of the season. Then at the Big Sky Truck Fest he lost in the finals to Donavan Harris from Red Deer Alberta.

At the World Finals Douglas made it to the Semi Finals but had mechanical issues but that did not stop him from accruing enough points to secure his 1st ever National Points Championship in the Pro Stock Category.

Foster Evans is your 2023 NHRDA Pro Street National Champion!

Foster Evans drives the KC Turbo's Pro Street Ford named the Haunter that is powered by Ford 6 liter.

Evans and his team has a season that will go down in the record books as they won ever event they attended in 2023 and set the National record in Pro Street.

Will Terry is your 2023 NHRDA Super Street (5.90 Index) National Champion!

Will Terry of Cedar City, Utah drives the Power Driven Diesel Dodge Ram in the Super Street Class.

Terry won the Big Sky Truck Fest back in July and decided he would attend the World Finals in Texas and hopefully become World Champion. Well Terry dream of of being WF champion didn't come true but he did accrue enough points in Texas that his is your 2023 NHRDA Super Street National Champion.

Rob Getz is your 2023 ARP Super Diesel (7.70 Index) National Points Champion!

Getz is from Kamloops BC, 1st showed up this year on the NHRDA circuit at the Nor Cal Diesel Nationals in California but unfortunately he went out in the 1st round. Next up was the Canadian Diesel Shootout and before the event started he told president, Randy Cole, that if he won the event he would go to every event after this one and chase after the National Points Championship.

Getz did end up winning the Canadian event and made it to the semi finals at the Big Sky Truck Fest so now he realization starting coming true that he has a shot at the Points Championship.

Standing in his way is Spencer Schulte from Dark Side Diesel who won the season opener in Arizona , made it to the semi finals in California and Montana and had a 10 point lead headed to Texas.

At the World Finals Getz and Schulte we are opposite sides of the ladder and if all went as planned they would be in the finals and decide the championship. Schulte unfortunately broke out in the 1st round and was out. Getz made it to the 1/4 finals and went -0.20 red and took himself out but not before making enough rounds to take the championship by 10 points and winning his 1st ever ARP Super Diesel National Championship.

Robin Ridgway is your 2023 NHRDA Sportsman National Points Champion.

Ridgway from Lafayette Indiana and her truck named "Tony" have completely dominated the Sportsman class this year in the Hot Shots Secret Drag Racing Series.

Every event Ridgway she has attended she has won in 2023. Starting off in Chandler Arizona she won the Desert Diesel Nationals and then she traveled to Acton, Montana and won the Big Sky Truck Fest and was sitting at the top of the leader board in points heading into the World Finals.

As Ridgway prepared to make the drive from Indiana to Texas for the World Finals she grabbed her Dads hat, not only good luck but she wanted to make sure he was there in spirit to help cheer her on as she chased after the championship.

Ridgway showed up to Texas with her game face on and was ready to show her determination and dominance at the World Finals and keep her streak of wins going. During the elimination rounds she was super consistent and ran within a couple of tenths on her dial time and was spot on her reaction times. Robin worst light of the day was .062 and that is why Ridgway is the 2023 World & National Points Champion.

Rick (Chops) Hernandez is your 2023 NHRDA Big Rig Bracket National Champion!

Hernandez from San Antonio Texas and drives his 2001 (379) Peterbilt to all the events, and he usually competes in both the sled pulls & drag racing portions of NHRDA events.

Chops is known for doing his big burnouts in the water box and is a crowd favorite among the spectators. He won the Desert Diesel Nationals in April and had a strong showing at the World Finals where he sealed up the National Points Championship.
