The NHRDA is the largest and oldest diesel motorsport organization in the World. Since their beginning back in 2003 the founder Randy Cole has strived to make Diesel Motorsports more than a grass roots sport. He has put it on a national platform so both competitors and sponsors can be seen by millions of their fans each season.
NHRDA events are more than just your average truck show. Our events are a lifestyle that lets both competitors and spectators from all walks of life enjoy drag racing, sled pulling, dyno contests, and show-n-shine competitions for both Semi & Pickup truck enthusiasts.
Our National Championship Series has events both in the United States and Canada and culminates in the Fall for our annual World Finals in Texas.
Mr. Cole developed and founded Diesel TV back in 2010 to help promote events and awareness of Diesel Motorsports and its sponsors. Today Diesel TV has live coverage of all NHRDA events. Diesel TV features multi camera angles for round-by-round coverage with instant replay, sponsors commercial breaks and driver interviews.
The NHRDA is proud to be the only Diesel Organization that was recognized as an Alternative Sanctioning Organization of the NHRA from 2014 to 2019. Then due to Covid and not being able to put on events we took a break but plan on having that status again in 2024.
