PPE's Heavy-Duty DEEP 10L80 Transmission Pan is designed to accommodate an additional 4 quarts of fluid, crafted from high-quality aluminum alloy for strength and efficient heat dissipation. The underlying principle is simple – more transmission fluid is advantageous. Increased fluid volume results in a slower heating process, promoting stable transmission temperatures that contribute to extending the lifespan of the transmission.
Built with cast gussets, the pan ensures strength and overall durability. Internal heat sinks serve the dual purpose of dissipating heat and acting as baffles to minimize fluid sloshing. External fins increase surface area, utilizing free-flowing air to effectively radiate heat. Additionally, the PPE Heavy-Duty DEEP Aluminum Transmission Pan is equipped with a high-power Neodymium magnet-equipped billet stainless steel drain plug. This feature is designed to capture and retain harmful ferrous metal contaminants, preventing their entry into the transmission internals.
